I just returned from a whirlwind trip to San Francisco. Sunday I left in the wee hours of the morning and headed for the Alameda Antiques Faire which is held the first Sunday of every month. It is a mecca of antique dealers and wonderful "finds." My friend, John, and I enjoyed searching for treasures at as many of the booths as time would allow. During the summer months there are several hundred booths. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to see them all. Next time, I will get there earlier with my rollerblades on and cart in tow.
Doesn't this German glass glitter look charming in these decorated shakers.
I stayed in this charming bed and breakfast in Santa Clara which is where my dear friend, John, and his family live which is south of San Francisco.
This house was built in 1809, amazing! I loved my room and breakfast was divine.
Next stop on my quick trip to the city was to meet with Kati Koos who owns this amazing gallery in downtown San Francisco right by Union Square. Kati contacted me a few weeks ago regarding my art jewelry. I absolutely loved Kati's boutique. As her signage indicates, her store radiates the "tongue and chic" theme with very "chic" artistic clothing that I would love to have in my closet and such whimsical art.
I spent about two hours, while Kati and I were visiting, wandering through every inch of her amazing gallery. Living in such a small town as I do I don't have the opportunity to visit stores like this often and I felt as though I was in heaven.
I would like this entire Krista Larson collection of clothing (above) please....just wrap it all up and send it directly to my home. Love it, love it!
Look at these cuties.
Kati just purchases items she absolutely loves.....she has a very playful side of her.
This Mad Hatter party scene was displayed in a glass case and I couldn't believe the detail.
Here I am (the flaming red-head on the left) with gallery owner Kati and her husband, Siga. Kati and Siga purchased several pieces of my jewelry which are now featured in this wonderland of a gallery of theirs. I am so very honored and so very excited. Kati Koos is just the type of gallery I have wanted my jewelry to be in. And there it is! Wonders never cease....I'm so very blessed! So, if you are ever in San Francisco, you might drop by the Kati Koos gallery located at 500 Sutter Street on the corner of Sutter and Powell just about two blocks from Union Square.Tootles
