My suitcases are getting packed for a trip to the Pacific Northwest to visit my boys and to spend 5 days in one of my most favorite places to be - Point No Point on Vancouver Island, Canada. They are forecasting some rain...oh well...packing the umbrella. It will be great to sit around the fireplace in the cabin, play games, eat popcorn and drink hot chocolate, get caught up and enjoy the gorgeous scenery.I have been enjoying the book I created in Nina Bagley's class at Art and Soul last year which is a tribute to that magical place. It is a constant reminder of why I love Point No Point so much. And to share it with my boys will be wonderful....I couldn't ask for anything better.

I will be gone for a few weeks and will share my trip with you upon my return.
If you haven't seen the new Belle Armoire Jewelry Magazine that hit the stands a few days ago...it is well worth the cost. Great articles once again. Check it out!
I do have an article in this issue - A River Runs Through It.
I apologize for being so brief....but I am dashing out the door to get a pedicure...a definite necessity before going on vacation right girls??Hope you all have a great next few weeks and I'll be chatting with ya when I get back.

Have a WONDERFUL MAGICAL TIME my precious friend. I KNOW you will. That book you created moved my soul as does so many of your special creations. I am missing you so much. I HOPE to come out late fall but, not sure how things will work out. But, I NEED some Diana time. I talk to our precious Diane pretty often. I am so thankful that you hooked us up. Blessed is what I am with you, Diane & Riki. So... spread your beautiful wings & fly north. I'm waiting for photos & stories. Love YOU!
Charlene
I got my pedicure a few days ago too although where I'm going no one will see my beautiful toes under socks and boots....but I will know. I will be off to Montana tomorrow.
That book is gorgeous!! I never finished mine. Nina would not be happy. Maybe I need a "place" to dedicate it to, like you have. Maybe, then, I would finish it.
Have a wonderful visit with your boys.
I saw your feature in the recent issue of B.A. Awesome!

Lovely lovely work on those earings. I really like the 'illuminated scroll' feeling to them.
The earrings are exquisite Diane. Enjoy your vacation.

I am so very happy for you that you are going to the place that means so much to you. I recently saw a travel poster that said "Home is not where you live, It's where you come alive" In some respects that is true. Have a great trip.
